Biography
Aurora Vélez García was born in Bilbao (Spain). She studied Psychology at Universidad de Deusto and obtained a degree in Journalism at Universidad del País Vasco. Since then she has spent her career in France where she works for Euronews as TV Producer, specialising in the field of Education, and as a Senior Journalist. Over the last six years Aurora has produced “Learning Word” (www.euronews.com/programs/learning-world), a weekly documentary series on education, producing more than 800 TV reports, broadcast in 154 countries. Through this work, Aurora has participated as an expert in different forums: IE Madrid, UN Geneva, Educa Berlin, and was chosen in 2014 as pre-juror for the WISE awards. She previously worked for the IOC in Barcelona 92 where she was in charge of RTO logistics. In her spare time, she manages to combine her two passions, education and writing, in a series of "informal learning" poetry performances in France and Spain. She is a published author, with two of her poetry collections, “Sueños al aire” and “De exilio y verdín” (2016, already available). A third, “Carta Corriente en Cortina”, will be in bookshops in Spring 2017.

Josh Taub is the Assistant Vice President for International Advancement at Brown University. Born and raised in Paris, France, Josh graduated from Brown in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics. He worked in new business development for the international magazine publisher, Conde Nast International, in Paris, London and Madrid before launching his own publishing company based in Barcelona, Spain. For the past 10 years, Josh has been working at Brown as a fundraiser based in Providence, RI. In his current role, he manages all of Brown’s fundraising outside of the US and works with alumni in Europe and Asia. He is a board member of Brown University’s Charitable Trust in the UK.

My name is Alberto Valero. I am Industrial Engineer from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. I hold a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza University of Rome.
